Ensure
that the learner realizes that math is a process. Math is like
grammar or auto mechanics or weaving in that it is just a box
of tools that help us all function. It is not about being smart;
it is about being better equipped. My role as an instructor is
like the Snap-On Tool man for garages. I dont
teach a better way of fixing cars, just how to use the tools in
a smarter way.
