Acknowledgements

The College Sector Committee’s Provincial Models of Program Integration project was an ambitious, far-reaching and highly successful one thanks to the many individuals and groups who contributed to it, participated in it and provided critical feedback. They include:

1. College Academic Upgrading managers/coordinators and front line program deliverers who not only participated in the surveys but also provided feedback on the surveys as part of the overall project evaluation process.
2. Individuals who contributed to the package of materials distributed to nearly eighty Academic Upgrading program delivery locations as part of the pilot process including:
   • Rod Cameron, Dean of Technology at Fanshawe College, who provided a preliminary review of the Quick Facts and program overview of Pre-Apprenticeship/Apprenticeship
   • Dan Goldring, Executive Director of Job Connect College Sector, and Sue Ferguson, Chair of Job Connect at Cambrian College, who provided a preliminary review of the Quick Facts and program overview of Job Connect
   • The three individuals, whose work on the “Top Ten Literacy Issues Affecting Employment,” contributed to the self-assessment tool designed to help Academic Upgrading programs reflect on their potential to respond to the needs of Job Connect and Pre-Apprenticeship /Apprenticeship clients:

   • Christopher Ioannou of Seneca College, King Campus, for developing the models in DVD format.
